Weekly Letter October 16th10/16/2023 Is everyone enjoying the cooler weather? It’s finally feeling like Fall! I hope everyone had a good weekend and spent some time outside. And let’s not forget the solar eclipse, I had several teenagers tell me it looked like an Instagram filter outside. Ha.
We are only 3 weeks away from the end of the 1st quarter. If you are not sure if your child is on target with their academic projection, please set up a time to visit with your child’s teacher. Our expectation is for every student to meet their daily, weekly, and quarterly goals. PSAT- For the students taking the PSAT this Wednesday, please make sure they get a good night’s rest and eat a healthy breakfast in the morning. Weekly Letter October 10th10/10/2023 Two weeks ago Rosanky Community Center hosted a Fall Coloring Contest. RCA had
several students submit their coloring projects and last week the winners were announced. Before I list the winners, I want to congratulate everyone who submitted their entries. We have some creative and talented students! In no particular order, the following students won prizes and gift cards. Coloring Contest Winners: Ella Kirks Jackson Thomasson Kennedie Wilson Lucas Voigt Katie Campos Brayden Voigt Fire Prevention- This Thursday the Fire Department will be at RCA to demonstrate and talk with the kids about fire prevention. Christmas in October- We are asking everyone to prayerfully consider volunteering for our Christmas in October Toy Drive. There are several ways you can help: managing a game booth, serving at concessions, baking items for the cake walk, decorating, and cleaning up. All the toys collected from Christmas in October will be given away, with food for a Christmas meal, to families in need. The students had a great time at the yearbook signing party that was hosted this past Friday. Previous students showed up to sign books and hang out with our current RCA students. Have a great week. Enjoy the cool weather. Praise God for His blessings. In His service, JR Regalado |
